Now that you mention it, I have noticed him coughing alot too. Just assumed it was hairballs, and the fact that I have been keeping him inside and noticed it.
Will keep you posted!
With this cat I can assure you he knows how to meow! He "talks" to us constantly...more than my 7 year old son!
Sometimes I think he just meows to hear himself....seriously, I have heard him "Talking" to himself before!
